I used a lightweight linen for the top, from Apple Annie, I think.
The skirt is a crinkle knit from the vault. Backed with tricot, so it's almost a sweater knit weight.
Haven't worn either yet, but hoping the skirt will stay up, as there is no elastic in that band. Update: both my photographer, Jane, and I think this skirt needs the assurance of elastic run in the top of the band, for sure.
Otherwise, I like both and might make them again, as they were fun pieces to make this time around.
Can you believe I had this matching Chicos sweater in my wardrobe for a coverup?
Love the two different fabrics together. The stripe makes the best of the skirt lines. Get Rex to take some pictures of you. Let us know if it stays up. Always appreciate your sharing of the latest creations.
ReplyDeleteRex is always on the golf course, even when it's raining today. Fortunately, Jane agreed to these great photos
DeleteBeautiful combo, love it! Is the vault your older stash:)?
ReplyDeleteThe basement deep storage is the vault! Several Costco bins full of woolly stuff.
DeleteGreat combinations. They look really good together. I'm glad to see this pattern made up, I wasn't sure how it would look! Thanks so much.
